Memorartis is an app designed to help users memorize texts, dialogues, scripts, monologues, poems, songs, presentations, speeches, and other written content through guided study modes.
The App is operated by Memorartis.
Privacy and support contact: support@memorartis.com
Memorartis is designed to work locally on the user’s device.
This means that texts imported, pasted, or written by the user, selected parts, audio recordings, app settings, and study progress are stored locally on the user’s device and are not sent to Memorartis servers.
Memorartis does not require users to create an account.
Memorartis does not sell user data.
Memorartis does not use user content for advertising, profiling, analytics, or commercial tracking.
Memorartis does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
The App may process the following categories of data locally on the user’s device, depending on how the user uses the available features.
The user may import, paste, or write texts inside the App. These contents may include, for example:
scripts;
dialogues;
monologues;
poems;
songs;
speeches;
presentations;
notes;
study materials;
other text content chosen by the user.
The user is responsible for the content they choose to enter into the App.
The App may allow users to import files in various formats, including:
ChordPro;
DOC;
DOCX;
Fountain;
PDF;
RTF;
TXT.
Imported files are used to extract or organize the text to be studied within the App.
Memorartis may allow the user to record their voice or other audio useful for study and memorization.
Audio recordings are used to let the user practice, listen back to parts, rehearse lines, or study content in audio mode.
Audio recordings remain stored locally on the user’s device and are not sent to Memorartis servers.
The App may store information on the user’s device related to the use of the App, such as:
texts or parts selected for study;
memorization progress;
user preferences;
app settings;
study modes used;
data necessary for the correct functioning of the App.
This data is used to provide a personalized experience and to allow the user to continue studying from where they left off.
The App may request certain device permissions only when necessary to provide specific features.
Microphone access may be requested to allow the user to record audio or their own voice inside the App.
Microphone access is used only for the recording feature requested by the user.
The user can manage or revoke microphone permission at any time from the device settings.
The App may request access to files or documents selected by the user in order to import texts and study materials.
The App accesses only the files that the user voluntarily chooses to import or open.
Memorartis stores user content and app data locally on the user’s device.
This may include:
imported or written texts;
imported file contents;
selected roles, characters, parts, or sections;
audio recordings;
study progress;
app preferences and settings.
Memorartis does not provide its own cloud synchronization service.
If the user has enabled device-level backup features, such as iCloud Backup on iOS or Android backup services, some app data may be backed up by the operating system according to the user’s device settings and the privacy policies of Apple, Google, or the relevant platform provider.
Memorartis may offer paid features through subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Purchases and subscriptions are managed by the official distribution platforms, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Memorartis does not directly receive or store complete payment data such as credit card numbers, banking details, or payment credentials.
The payment platforms may provide the App or the developer with technical information necessary to verify the purchase or subscription status, such as activation, expiration, renewal, or cancellation status.
The processing of payment data by Google or Apple is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service.
Memorartis does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, profiling, or tracking SDKs.
The App may interact with platform services necessary for its operation on Android and iOS, including:
Google Play, for distribution, in-app purchases, and subscriptions on Android;
Apple App Store, for distribution, in-app purchases, and subscriptions on iOS;
operating system services for features such as text-to-speech, file management, permissions, local storage, and device backup, when available and enabled by the user.
These services may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms of use.
Memorartis does not share texts, files, audio recordings, or study progress created or imported by the user with third parties, except in the following cases:
when the user voluntarily chooses to export, share, or transfer content through device features;
when sharing is necessary to manage purchases or subscriptions through Google Play or the Apple App Store;
when required by law or by a competent authority;
when necessary to protect the security, rights, or proper functioning of the App.
Data stored locally in the App remains on the user’s device until the user decides to delete it, uninstall the App, or erase the App data from the device settings.
Audio recordings, imported texts, progress, and settings may be deleted by the user through the App’s features, where available, or by deleting the App data from the device.
Data related to purchases and subscriptions is stored and managed by the distribution platforms, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, according to their respective rules.
Any emails or support requests sent by the user to support@memorartis.com may be retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and comply with any legal obligations.
Memorartis may be used by students and users of different ages, including children, for educational, artistic, theatrical, musical, or study purposes.
Memorartis does not require users to create an account.
Memorartis does not knowingly collect personal information from children on its own servers.
Memorartis does not include advertising, behavioral tracking, social networking features, or third-party analytics SDKs.
When Memorartis is used by children, it should be used under the supervision of a parent, guardian, teacher, or responsible adult.
Parents, guardians, or teachers are responsible for the texts, files, and audio content that children choose to import, write, record, or study inside the App.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal data through a support request, they may contact support@memorartis.com to request deletion of that communication.
Memorartis applies reasonable measures to protect the data processed by the App.
Because user content is stored locally on the user’s device, security also depends on the device’s own settings and protections, such as passcode, biometric authentication, backup settings, encryption, and operating system updates.
No information system can guarantee absolute security, but the App is designed to limit data collection and transmission to what is necessary.
Depending on the applicable law, users may have the right to:
access their personal data;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request deletion of data;
object to certain processing activities;
request restriction of processing;
request information about how their data is processed.
Because Memorartis works locally and does not require an account, most user content is under the user’s direct control on their own device.
To delete local data, the user may delete content from the App, delete recordings, erase the App data from the device settings, or uninstall the App.

support@memorartis.com
Memorartis does not operate its own servers for storing user content.
Where platform services such as Google Play or the Apple App Store are used, some technical, diagnostic, or purchase-related data may be processed by those providers outside the user’s country of residence, according to their respective privacy policies and protection measures.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example to reflect new App features, technical changes, legal requirements, or changes in the services used.
The updated version will be published on this page with the date of the latest update.
